Tenet Trailblazers

We are investing in the next generation of singing entrepreneurs.

Tenet Trailblazers is a free mentorship program for emerging singers interested in early music and focused on cultivating artistry, fostering entrepreneurship, and building community.

Led by Tenet artists, mentees gain firsthand experience in concert production and performance practice. Our program collaborators are continuo players from Juilliard’s 415 Historical Performance program.

Core to the program’s mission, Trailblazers will learn valuable skills to support their future project ideas: fundraising, promotion, administration, scheduling, ensemble skills, and audience engagement. These skills will be actively engaged as the Trailblazers organize and fundraise for their final public concert at 4pm on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on New York City’s Upper West Side.

2025-26 applications are now closed

Thank you to all who applied. You will hear from us soon!

“What I loved the most about the Tenet Trailblazers program was the opportunity to go through the process of organizing a concert from start to finish. This included coming up with a concept, fundraising, promotion and logistics. I also really enjoyed preparing the repertoire with the support of outstanding mentors and alongside a very inspiring group of mentees.”

2024-2025 Trailblazers

“The Tenet Trailblazers program was a rare opportunity to engage deeply with early music in a space that valued both artistic integrity and collaborative generosity. The mentorship was insightful, the process invigorating, and the community truly inspiring. I’m grateful for an experience that strengthened not only my craft, but my sense of purpose as an artist.”
